What Makes a Disney Cruise MAGICAL?

I recently returned from a Disney Cruise aboard the Disney Dream and it was MAGICAL! We have sailed many times with Disney and each cruise has been fun, relaxing and special.

Just like at Disney theme parks, a Disney Cruise is a one-of-a-kind vacation that is a step above the rest.

What Makes a Disney Cruise MAGICAL?

THE SHIPS: Disney Wonder, Disney Magic, Disney Dream & Disney Fantasy

Each ship is elegantly designed with an art decor theme. Three uniquely designed restaurants offer different dining experiences. Staterooms are layout with families in mind and have plenty of storage. Magical Disney touches are noticeable throughout each ship.

CHARACTERS:

So many characters and so little time! It all starts with Mickey Mouse greeting guests while they are waiting to board. As soon as you board, characters are available for meet & greets (some require a ticket - which I can help with during the planning process). During our cruise we saw lots of Princesses, Pluto, Mickey & Friends, Donald & Daisy, Chip & Dale, Jessie & Woody, Stitch, Captain Jack Sparrow, Peter Pan and more.

DISNEY CUSTOMER SERVICE:

High-end service from the minute you arrive at the port. Disney is there is make your sailing experience MAGICAL! Chocolates on your pillow at night, excellent dining servers, highly trained kids counselors and skilled cruise staff are among services to expect during your Disney Cruise.

ENTERTAINMENT:

You can see cruise ship entertainment reach new heights with the most elaborate productions at sea. Disney has taken the most imaginative elements from modern and classic Disney films to bring the stories you love to life on stage. For example: Beauty & The Beast, Tangled, Aladdin and Frozen (coming soon).

DISNEY'S CASTAWAY CAY (on select sailings):

Many Disney Cruise Line itineraries stop at their private island Castaway Cay. The island is gorgeous and makes these itineraries extra magical. It is my favorite day when cruising and I always look forward to a fun & relaxing day. As you leave the ship characters are there to greet. There are several different beaches to explore, food options to try, excursions to book, bikes & kayaks to rent and so much more. Serenity Bay is the adult-only beach and has plenty of beach chairs, bar area and buffet dining. The family beach areas are conveniently located to dining, shopping and kid friendly activities like Pelican Plunge.
